The 9 String Bass is Key

Bill Conklin is credited with the creation of the first 9 string electric ever made. At the request of bass pioneer Bill (the Buddha ) Dickens ,their vision came to life. The number of 9 string bass players are growing to an astonishing amount of players. Some of the early pioneers of this instrument are Garry Goodman, Gregory Bruce Campbell Jean Baudin and Avon Lucas. I have the first midi 9 string bass ever made, built for me by Bill Conklin. Bass is an adventure.Bass is a way of life. Bass is the foundation and Bass is the future. The 9 string bass is capable of a wide range of tonality. It can sound like a guitar or the lowest of contra basses depending on how you choose to tune it. With the addition of midi , you are able to have thousands of tones available to you at all times.
